ReplyDeletei saw sorority row last night...sorority row was a pretty good movie but lets talk twilight series lol when i saw the preview of new moon i fliped...everyone in the theater was being rude and laughing and saying things the whole time but o well i could hear what was going on anyways i watched the VMA'S today and it was the same trailer it was suposed to be a never before seen trailer so i was all excited but it was the same trailer i saw when i went to see sorority row yesterday...o well now i must wait until november 20th unless they come out with another trailer lol and about the american eagle jacket....i am fliping out because i ordered this jacket 3 days ago before anything was ever posted on this site because i thought it was cute and then i get on today and i see the jacket....its pretty cool to not know you have twilight series gear comeing in the mail without knowing it would be in the movie so im happy i wish i could have all the costumes because they are all soooo cute but some of the things cost to much...i dont know how you guys find some of this stuff i mean like how its so hard to do but thank you! and take care everyone :) KEEP ON TWILIGHTING!

ReplyDeleteI normally wear a size small in AE products. I ordered a size small in the jacket and it fits like all of my other jackets. The sleeves run a little long. Since it is a bomber jacket, it is shorter in the waist. In other words, it fits like a bomber jacket should. I absolutely love this jacket!!

ReplyDeletei got my jacket in the mail today its lovely!!!!!!!!!! and fits perfect to i would say it fits true to size i wear a size medium in shirts but always get jackets in larges because they tend to be cut smaller and plus you wear clothes under jackets so its good to have more room

It's a hoodie that looks almost like a distressed black jean jacket, but it's super soft! It looks like something Bella might wear & reminded me of her Billabong jacket in New Moon. ReplyDeleteI called up AE and inquired and the service rep. said that, because it is a new arrival, they should be getting in more. She told me to continue to check the website and to call for updates. I will be calling this week to see if I can get any more information on when the new order for the jackets will be placed.

Don't lose hope and don't waste your money on those overpriced ebay jackets just yet!

ReplyDeleteI got my jacket at eaton center one week ago and they had it on sale for $79.99 CAD and they still had tons of size small - to large and i bought the last xl they had :P so better check out your AE store around u and im sure they'll have some.
and as for the fit i usually wear an XL and the XL fit me really well and still have tons of space to move around.
and shes wearing a brown hoodie underneath the jacket i got a brown hoodie just like that from old navy for like $9.99 CAD.
The American Eagle near me isn't going to be getting this at their store... =[

ReplyDeleteI am so glad I ordered it the first day I saw this post- I got it in the mail two weeks ago and love it. It was really windy today so I wore it to work and it is very soft and cosy.
ReplyDeleteI checked ebay and they are selling for close to $200. Yikes. That's probably why they sold out on the website: so many people bought it to make money off of twilight fans. Boo.
I actually saw a very similar jacket at Forever 21 this weekend and they have it online so I just wanted to post it. I know it's not the same jacket but it might be of interest to people who don't want to pay $200 for the AE jacket on ebay. I'll do anything to help out: I very much feel the sense of community and shared experience in this group (you guys are the only other people I know who obsess about this stuff as much as I do).

I found a large one in a store today in Milwaukee, WI, (Wauwatosa,WI to be more precise) @ mayfair mall, a grey one hidden behing some new parkas, of course i already have mine, bought it a while ago. So if anyone is looking for that jacket call that store right away

I lucked out bigtime and ordered this jacket the day it was posted that it was the one Bella wears in Eclipse! I'm glad I was able to act quickly. I have the re-release of the BB Dakota jacket, but it's tight in the arms and I can't zip it :(

TwilightmominOhio: the Ebay seller, "laidoffandlovingit" is selling BB Dakota jackets that don't have the zippers above the bottom front pockets nor the ribbing at the end of the sleeves. I got a brown one, and it fits a little bit bigger than the newly released BB Dakota jacket (I have that one in Lake Blue). The brown one I have fits probably at least 1/2 inch bigger around the waits/chest/sleeve circumference. The sleeves are also a tad longer. The prices are a little hefty, but I think it's worth it because now I can wear winter sweaters underneath it and not look like a fat, lol!

the AE jacket is amazing! i wear it all the time now. so soft, warm, and cozy! might as well live in it!

ReplyDeleteIf you're on a budget and want some gray skinny jeans for cheap that look similar to Bella's, Walmart has the Miley Cyrus-Max Azria gray skinnys on clearance for $7. They have a nice faded look. I bought me a pair, lol. Yeah, I know it's "Miley Cyrus", but I don't care. It's a deal to me. =P I'm thinking about buying another one since they're so cheap. It's American Eagle, but has the low, wide-banded scoop neck, and button up details on the cuffs. Comes in white, black, kind of an olive green color, and a pretty, mauvy-type pink color they refer to as "Raspberry Heather."
